El Calafate lays on the southern shore of Argentino Lake, 315 km away from Río Gallegos, capital city of the province of Santa Cruz, and 80 km away from the entrance to Los Glaciares National Park.
Located on a steppe landscape, visitors are admired because of the size of its views, the turquoise colour of the Argentino Lake, and its vegetation, typical of a desert region.
You can do many excursión like, the Moreno Glaciar, the Upsala Glaciar, Estancia Alice, 4x4 crossings:4x4 crossings can be made out here from El Calafate to climb to 1050 meters above sea level to reach a balcony where you can first see a panoramic view of El Calafate and Lake Argentino. Continue up the labyrinth of the Rocks where you can find fossils, traveling about 35 kilometers.
Navigation Channel floes: It consists of a navigation on the right bank of the Perito Moreno Glacier noting floes off the glaciar.

Iguazu Falls are located in the province of Misiones, in the Parque Nacional Iguazu, Argentina to the border with Iguazu National Park in the state of Parana, Brazil.
Consist on 275 jumps up to 70m high, fueled by the flow of the Iguazu River. You can make boat rides under the falls and hiking trails appreciating some animals from the subtropical forest. The "Devil's Throat" is a separate event, departing from Puerto Canoas, can be enjoyed in all its majesty only 50m away.
You can also do a train ride, in the park in the National Ecological Rail, which will lead to the onset of upper and lower circuit, reaching the Devil's Throat.
The Hito Tres Fronteras is a tourist attraction, located a few blocks from downtown Puerto Iguazu. The Landmark is located at the confluence of the Iguazu and Parana rivers. |
San Carlos de Bariloche, usually known as Bariloche, is a city in the province of Río Negro, Argentina, situated in the foothills of the Andes, surrounded by lakes and mountains. Bariloche has an inland temperate climate.
Tourism, both domestic and international, is the main economic activity of Bariloche, all year around. The main ski station is the one at Cerro Catedral. During the summer, beautiful beaches such as Playa Bonita and Villa Tacul welcome sun-bathers and some brave lake swimmers (the waters, from melting snow, are always very cold. Lake Nahuel Huapi averages 14 °C in the summertime). The fishing season is another great attraction. Bariloche is the biggest city of a huge Lakes District, and serves as a base for many excursions in the region. Trekking in the mountains, almost completely wild and uninhabited with the exception of a few high-mountain huts operated by Club Andino Bariloche, is also a popular activity. Ushuaia is the capital of the Argentine province of Tierra del Fuego, and the world's southernmost city (see discussion below). It is located on the southern coast of the island of Tierra del Fuego in a wide bay, guarded on the north by the Martial mountain range and on the south by the Beagle Channel.
The tourist attractions include the Tierra del Fuego National Park to see Lapataia Bay; the park can be reached on the End of the World Train (Tren del Fin del Mundo) from Ushuaia. The city has a museum of Yamana, English, and Argentine settlement, including its years as a prison colony, and the End of The World Museum. Wildlife attractions include local birds, penguins and orcas as seen on the islands in the Beagle Channel. There are daily bus tours to Harberton, the estancia of the Bridges family. Some tours also visit the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, known as the Lighthouse at the End of the World (Faro del fin del mundo)
although it is not the same lighthouse as the one made famous by Jules Verne in the novel of the same name.
There are a number of ski areas nearby, like Cerro Castor and Glaciar Martial.

Salta is a province of Argentina, located in the northwest of the country. Neighboring provinces are from the east clockwise Formosa, Chaco, Santiago del Estero, Tucumán and Catamarca. It also surrounds Jujuy. To the north it borders Bolivia and Paraguay and to the west lies Chile.
